Long-Term Consequences of Adolescence Cannabis Exposure: It’s Time to Take a Fresh Look

Most studies on the lasting impact of adolescence cannabis use in humans have focused on mental health. After a brief review of these data, some of which have recently come under question, the talk will illustrate the results of new investigations in mice showing unexpected long-term effects of THC exposure on immunity and energy metabolism. Possible pharmacological approaches to correct such effects will also be described. Forum Recording
