Dario Cantù

Dario has been working on hemp genomics for a couple of years and will be teaching Cannabis genetics in the workshop that SBC is hosting this Fall. He is funded by Front Range Biosciences to generate a genome reference for an elite hemp line that is central to their breeding programs. His interests are in Cannabis evolution, domestication, sex determination, secondary metabolism, and disease resistance.
